When a policyholder requires hospitalization for a covered medical condition, they can request a cashless letter from their insurance company.

Request Process

To obtain a cashless letter, the policyholder contacts the insurance company before seeking medical treatment.

Information Required

The policyholder is required to provide specific information when requesting a cashless letter.

Verification and Approval:

Upon receiving the request, the insurance company verifies the information provided and checks whether the proposed treatment is covered under the policy.

Authorization Letter:

Once the verification process is complete and the treatment is eligible for cashless coverage, the insurance company issues a cashless authorization letter to the policyholder. 

Presentation at the Hospital:

The policyholder presents the cashless authorization letter to the hospital during the admission process. The hospital staff verifies the letter and initiates the treatment.
